		>>>The college has an excellent research staff and achieved a lot.In the recent five years ,it has enjoyed a budget over 3 million yuan RMB for scientific resea_ rch and has undertaken 91 various scientific reaearch projects,of which 11 projects are state programs,38 projects are ministerialor provincal,and 42 proje_ cts are municpal projects.The state programs include one key project of"Task Pro_ gram 8.5 ",eight project of "National Natural Science Founndation of China" and two projects of"Research Funds of the State Eductional Committee". The minsterial and province projects include one key project of"Task Program10.5 of Hunan Provi_ nce",two projects of"Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province"and eight key projects of"Research Funds of the Science Committee of Hunan Province".Moreover ,in order to promote greater intergration between research and applications,over 50 contracts of technical guidance and technical assistance to corporations have been signed.The sum of the contracts being over 5 million yuan RMB,and up to 100 million RMB of gross benifit has been gotten by the corporations. >>>Then again,in the recent five years,5 textbooks and monographs,together with more than 400 academic papers have been published.Over 40 papers have been indexed in SCI or EI.In addition,10 scientific research projects have passed the appraisal by the ministry or the province,4 scientific research achievements have won the the Prize for the Advance of Science and Technology by the ministry province, 6 achievements have awarded the Prize for the Andvance of Science and Technology by the municipality,and 8 invention patents have been applied.
